We’re looking for a creative and versatile Video Producer to join our team at The Better India, the country’s largest positive news platform.
You’ll play a pivotal role in creating high-impact, original, and curated short-form videos that inspire, inform, and resonate across social media platforms.
From scripting to post-production, your work will bring to life the stories that make India better.
Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Production
Brainstorm, research, factcheck and storyboard compelling video ideas and narratives that align with The Better India's ethos.
Produce (script, ideate, plan) engaging short-form videos (30s–3min) tailored for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook & Linkedin.
Plan freelancer shoots, manage production schedules, and oversee editing & post-production.
Stay updated with trends in video storytelling to create timely and impactful content.
Analyze performance metrics and feedback to refine content strategies for maximum impact.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in short-form video production, preferably for social media platforms.
Background in journalism, filmmaking, or digital media production.
Exceptional scriptwriting and storytelling abilities with a knack for crafting emotional, inspiring, and informative narratives.
An understanding of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.).
Strong researching, planning and fact-checking skills.
Creative visualizing skills and an eye for design and aesthetics.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and video formats is a must.
A passion for telling stories that bring positivity and change.
