We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our regional team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of visual content creation. You will be responsible for editing engaging videos that resonate with our audience and reflect our mission of positivity and change.
Key Responsibilities:
● Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with the organization’s mission.
● Edit short-form videos for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube Shorts.
● Create attention-grabbing intros and hooks within the first few seconds to maximize engagement.
● Add subtitles and captions to ensure videos are accessible without sound, especially on platforms where users scroll without audio.
● Optimize video dimensions (e.g., square, vertical, or horizontal) according to platform requirements.
● Incorporate trendy music, sound effects, and voiceovers that align with regional tastes and cultural relevance.
● Design visually appealing graphics (e.g., text overlays, animated logos, call-to-action buttons).
● Keep videos concise and engaging, typically between 15-60 seconds, depending on platform best practices.
● Ensure videos are shareable, with clear messages or emotional appeal that encourage audience interaction.
● A/B test video formats to analyze which styles or themes resonate best with the regional audience.
● Monitor social media trends to incorporate relevant challenges, hashtags, or themes into video content.
● Collaborate with social media teams to schedule and release videos for maximum engagement.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a media or content-driven organization.
● Proficiency in Video Editing Software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
● Knowledge of Graphic Design & Animation Tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
● Experience with Audio Editing (e.g., Audition, Audacity).
● Experience with short-form content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
● Understanding of Regional Languages for content localization (subtitles, voiceovers, etc.)
● Ability to script in Hindi would be an added advantage.
